On the Clock

On the Clock transforms Manifesto Market into a live working studio. Nine artists occupy food stand structures dressed in blue overalls, engaging in continuous performative shifts across disciplines: painting, music, fashion design, choreography, and installation. There is no final artwork. There is no curatorial control. What matters is the labour itself, the visibility of creative process, the rhythm of a factory floor applied to artistic practice.

For seven days, the studio operates on a shift schedule. Each artist enters their station, works visibly under fluorescent light, and leaves at the end of their time. No preparation. No presentation. No editorial framing beyond the presence itself. The blue overall is the only visual anchor, collapsing the distinction between artist, worker, and viewer.
